Those lilies are gorgeous - congratulations on the prize. Is it painful to have to cut something so beautiful out of your garden? I don't usually end up with as many cut flowers in the house, because to me it's hard to destroy the beautiful picture they make in the garden by cutting them.
It is very hard to cut flowers out of my garden. But at fair time I become ruthless! I even have trouble cutting roses in the fall when I know that any day could be their last day. And the funny thing is, I love having them in the house, I just hate taking them from their natural setting!.
Yeah Sally, but I'm trying to catch up and as I said on my other blog, I'm going to bend the rules because I don't want to have to post every day again this year! I am committing to doing this but only by my own rules. LOL I can be stubborn that way...LOL

I'm so glad we have a Trader Joe's nearby with inexpensive flowers. I too have a hard time cutting them from my garden.

Gotcha! But, isn't it supposed to be *one* photo a day - every day?
